PRIVACY POLICY

Your card. Your choices.

This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Space operates Taply and handles personal data in its website, app, digital business cards, and related services.

Effective: 8 August 2026Last updated: 8 August 2026

1. Who we are

Taply is operated by Digital Space, Udyam registration number UDYAM-HR-03-0082227. In this policy, “Taply”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Digital Space and the Taply service. For privacy questions, contact us at care@taply.biz.

2. Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide Taply, including:

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, sign-in details, and account preferences.
  • Card information: the profile, contact details, business information, services, prices, links, photos, and privacy settings you choose to add to a Taply card.
  • Collection information: cards you save to your Taply collection, your choices to save a contact to a device, and card update status.
  • Service and technical information: feature use, card views, shares, saves, device/browser details, IP-derived diagnostic information, and security logs.
  • Support and transaction information: feedback or messages you send us, and, where paid plans or templates are offered, order, payment-status, and tax records supplied by our payment partners. We do not store full payment-card details.

3. How we use information

We use data to create and maintain accounts and cards; provide sharing links, QR codes, contact-save files, collections, and discovery; process subscriptions and template purchases; measure aggregate card activity; respond to support requests; prevent misuse; and comply with law. We also use it to improve and develop Taply.

4. Public cards and your controls

You decide which card fields appear publicly and whether a card is Public, Unlisted, or Private. Public cards may be found through Taply Discover and shared by anyone with the link. Unlisted cards can be accessed by people with the link or QR code. Private cards are not intended to be publicly accessible. Please do not add information you do not want a recipient to see or save.

When someone saves your card, they may add the fields you allow to their Taply collection and, after their confirmation, to their phone contacts. Card creators see aggregate save totals only; Taply does not show creators the identity of people who saved a card unless we clearly introduce and disclose such a feature in the future.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with providers that help us host Taply, authenticate users, send emails, process payments, prevent fraud, provide analytics, and support customers. They may use data only to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law. We may also disclose information when required to protect users, enforce our terms, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal request.

We do not sell or rent personal data. A business transfer, merger, or reorganisation may involve a transfer of relevant data, subject to this policy and applicable law.

6. Retention, security, and international processing

We retain information for as long as needed to operate Taply, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You can request deletion of your account or personal data through the contact details below; some records may be kept when law requires it. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Our providers may process data in India or other countries. Where data is transferred, we take steps appropriate to the service and applicable law.

7. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete your cards, control public fields, change discovery visibility, export available account data, and manage selected preferences in Taply. You may ask us to access, correct, erase, or explain the use of your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it, by emailing care@taply.biz. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law.

8. New features, children, and updates

Taply will evolve. If a future feature needs additional personal data or a materially different use of data, we will provide an updated notice and seek consent where required. Taply is not directed to children. Do not create an account or submit another person’s information unless you have the right to do so.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date will always appear on this page. Material changes may also be notified in the app or by email.

9. Contact and complaints

For questions, requests, or complaints about this policy or your data, email care@taply.biz with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will review your request and respond in accordance with applicable law.
